  2. Expanding the process to ensure the additional detail of a larger group, broader reporting requirements, more complex products, ordering systems etc are accommodated.
  3. Ensuring you receive proposals which properly detail the work involved in getting the system to ‘go live’, the stages involved, the testing required, the change in process that might be required, support and training.
  4. Ensuring your contract is properly reviewed by your legal adviser and meets your requirements and contains the key elements of the proposal.
  5. Assisting you team with the establishment of the new system through project management across your team and the vendor and also providing accounting staff as required.
  6. Helping develop any changes to processes.  
  7. Managing expectations through the process through to “go live” date.

Software implementations can test patience, they can go really well and they can also go horribly wrong. Having the right team on the project is the key to success.
